The City of Columbia Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE) invites parents and caregivers to attend Rooted & Resilient: The Parent Kickoff Session, the launch of the Strong Roots Parenting Initiative.
This kickoff event, titled “Planting the Seeds,” will provide parents with an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, gain practical tools, and connect with resources designed to support families and strengthen communities. This first session will focus on empowering parents through open dialogue, guidance, and support to help navigate the challenges facing today’s youth.
The event will take place on March 23, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Eau Claire Print Building, 3907 Ensor Avenue, Columbia, SC 29203.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend and join us as we begin building stronger foundations for families and safer communities together. We are asking everyone interested in joining us to register for this event at this link.
