
You are invited to the launch of BizArts, a new cultural and economic empowerment series designed to uplift small businesses and creatives in our community, Sunday, September 21, 2025, 4:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Columbia Museum of Art.This inaugural event will pay tribute to the legacy of Columbia’s Black business district while celebrating today’s entrepreneurs and visionaries. Guests will experience a thought-provoking fireside chat, a screening of the acclaimed documentary Did You Know? Columbia’s Black Wall Street, and a special exhibition presented by the University of South Carolina Center for Civil Rights History & Research and Columbia SC 63. Light hors d’oeuvres, beverages and live music will provide a warm and engaging atmosphere for connection and reflection.
In partnership with the City of Columbia, one small business owner in attendance will also be awarded 10 complimentary classes in the FastTrac Growth Venture program—an opportunity to accelerate business growth and sustainability.
